The Body of Time
Time is something I think about constantly. I explore its rhythm, repetition, and
inner contradictions. For me, time is both deeply valuable and strangely indifferent,
always moving forward regardless of our presence. The Body of Time is a
performative work that explores this experience. In it, a body moves back and forth
sixty times before stepping into the next “hour” of an imaginary clock. With each hour,
the quality of movement shifts—between speed and slowness, control and
exhaustion—allowing time to be experienced not as an abstract system, but as a
physical dimension made tangible through rhythm, duration, and emotion. My artistic
practice operates in the space between structure and freedom, repetition and
transcendence. The body serves as a central medium through which time becomes
visible, tangible, and open to inquiry.
