Moving Backward Through Present Time
I do not move forward, but backward. Time itself is unchangeable, yet its
perception is fluid and shaped by our experience. Time is precious and deserves
respect; at times it passes slowly, at other times quickly. Sounds, touches, and
unfamiliar obstacles alter my path. Each encounter becomes a moment of
confrontation with what I have left behind—an instant of awareness within
uncertainty, somewhere between memory and the present.
